Statutory instructions on the right of withdrawal for consumers pursuant to Art. 246a EGBGB.

Right of Withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the date of the conclusion of the contract.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must notify us (Academee E-Learning, Authorized Representative / Owner: Tom Schmitt, Sternenburgstraße 78, 53115 Bonn, Germany, Email: support@tryacademee.com) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by means of an unequivocal declaration (e.g. a letter sent by post or email). You may use the attached model withdrawal form below, but it is not obligatory.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Consequences of Withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (with the exception of supplementary costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and at the latest within fourteen days from the day on which we received notification of your withdrawal. We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.

Special Notice on the Premature Expiration of the Right of Withdrawal (§ 356 (5) BGB)

The right of withdrawal shall expire prematurely in the case of a contract for the supply of digital content not supplied on a tangible medium if the trader has begun performance of the contract after the consumer has expressly consented to the trader beginning performance of the contract before the expiration of the withdrawal period, and confirmed their knowledge that they will lose their right of withdrawal once performance has begun.

Note on the yearly plan (Sections 312k, 312g BGB)

For the yearly plan the term is twelve months from the conclusion of the contract; the contract then renews automatically for a further twelve months each time. Cancellation must reach us three months before the end of the term and takes effect at the end of the paid term; we send a reminder by email at least four weeks beforehand. The credit allowance is refilled monthly. The withdrawal period for the yearly plan is likewise fourteen days from the conclusion of the contract; after your express consent to immediate performance and to performance beginning before the withdrawal period expires, the right of withdrawal ends for the performance already supplied.

Withdrawal Function (Section 356a BGB)

Via the function below you can submit your withdrawal notice to us electronically. The function is available at any time during the withdrawal period.

Confirm withdrawal

You are about to withdraw the contract identified above. Your withdrawal notice will be submitted to us with the date and time.
